Get Personal for Pride! This month’s event features a Healthy Sexual interactive presentation that will allow us to address all the conversations we share around PrEP, testing/status, desires/interests, pleasure, consent, and more; 2nd dose Mpox vaccines will be available from KCHD so please come get yours if you are due or past due for 2nd dose (appointments are preferred & available by emailing cheyanne.killin@grpride.org & walk-ins are accepted as well);
We’ll have a “Prep Bar” where you can fill a bag with goodies that will help you prepare & be safe for/at Pride Fest & all month long; we encourage folks to stop into the computer lab to sign up to volunteer for a shift at Pride Fest; resources are available for folks who would like to cut back or quit smoking or vaping (Pride Fest is a tobacco & vape free zone);
Fern the Pug – GRPC’s support pug – will be available; and our resident Accessibility Coordinator, Aaminah Shakur, will be available if anyone has questions or concerns to bring up about accessibility related to Pride Fest. As usual, dinner will be provided, the library is open, and community connections and chill hang-outs are encouraged. We hope to see you!
