Please join us next week for the first of two events in our “Let’s Get Schooled” health equity series!
This session, titled “Get Prepared for Pride,” focuses on getting our bodies ready for Pride Fest, including…
– Dose 1 of the MPOX vaccine, courtesy of the Kent County Health Department
– PrEP and HIV Education, facilitated by local community member and health educator Paris Lara (they/them), including their personal experiences with PrEP and prevention
– A Pride Safety Supply bar, including free (internal and external) condoms, dental dams, fentanyl test strips, vitamins, face masks, at-home COVID tests, and more!
– Sign-up stations for volunteering!
Dinner will be catered by Buddy’s, including vegetarian and meat-based options, with salad. If anyone has dietary restrictions that may not be met by these options, please get in touch with our Accessibility Coordinator, Aaminah (they/them), and they will coordinate with you directly.
