Absentee Ballot Information

Don’t want to vote in person? No problem!
Every registered voter in Michigan has a legal right to request an Absentee Ballot, with no excuse required. You are able to request an Absentee Ballot until 5pm on the Friday before the election (Oct. 30th).

In 2018, Michigan Legislation enacted SDR (Same Day Voter Registration). This means that you can register to vote on the same day as the election. You can register at your local Clerk’s Office with a proof of residency and a Voter ID.
