Social support for transgender, non-binary, and gender questioning people.

Join Grand Rapids Pride Center's Own Your Gender social support group. This group is for those who are gender questioning, gender non-conforming, non-binary, and transgender, identifying inside and outside of the gender binary. OYG provides a space where you are you, with no exceptions and no explanations needed.  A place where you can openly and honestly discuss any trouble relating to others in your family, school, workplace, or surrounding community and connect with others in the community to share information, resources, and experiences.

For individuals 18 years of age and older.

Crossdressers who do not identify as trans or non-binary are invited to attend our Crossdressers Social group.

Are allies welcome? While Own Your Gender meetings are usually for trans, gender non-conforming, and gender-questioning individuals only, the first group meeting of each quarter is an open-door meeting, where friends, family, and allies may attend.

If you would like to schedule a tour and/or meeting before you attend the group, please reach out to us at (616)458-3511. We want to make sure everyone who attends group feels safe and is comfortable.
